Hugh was involved in the Jesus Revolution at St. Peter’s Church in his hometown of Jacksonville, Florida after returning from graduate school at the University of Illinois in 1973.

“St. Peter’s had been a DEAD typical Episcopal Church before I went off to grad school,” says the 80 years young Hugh. “So when I returned I was taken back by what had happened. People were Praising The Lord and raising their hands in the air reminding me more of a Baptist revival.”

After sitting down with the once boring Father John, who was now on FIRE for GOD, Hugh decided to explore The Book of Acts and the receiving of the HOLY SPIRIT.

“I thought I knew my Bible but for someone reason I had never heard of this,” states Hugh. “I became involved and even the youth leader. Instead of going to Montes West Inn on a Friday night to hear the Bill Davis Trio, I was along with other young people like Christy and Lamar attending Bible study at Anne’s house.”

Hugh also became involved with the charasmastic Cathedral of St. Phillip’s in Atlanta as both an usher and leader of the singles group.

“Of course my fledging public relations consulting business began to grow and I became less active in church,” shares Hugh, a long time serial entrepreneur. “Even in Franklin, North Carolina, where I have resided for over twenty years I was not as active until finally finding several interdomational ones.”

Hugh decided at 79 to dedicate the rest of his life to GOD and use his extensive successful business life for the GLORY OF GOD.

Hugh has plans to start a boat ministry on the St. John’s River in Florida as a mini church – Christian Armada On The St. John’s.
