Developing Christian Communities Part 1

Let me share some of my background. I trained with the Jacksonville, Florida Urban and Regional Planning Board before going to Florida State University to finish my degree. Before that I was a Post Newsweek TV Group investigative reporter.
After leaving FSU I attended the University of Illinois receiving a Master’s Degree in Advertising and Public Relations. I returned to Jacksonville and opened a very successful public relations consulting business that then took me to Atlanta to work with high profile clients like: William Thourlby, the Original Marlboro Man; Christian ultra marathon runner Stan Cottrell and DragonCon, the largest sci-fi conference.
I also co-owned two video production companies and became a certified Comcast TV producer producing an award winning TV series on holistic health and fitness. During that time I became a certified ISSA fitness trainer.
It was while in Atlanta I discovered a two paragraph article on a little known potential disaster – Y2K. That led to me writing my A Family Survival Manual for Y2K & Beyond. I appeared on FOX News, CNN and began my 25 years of guesting on the internationally syndicated radio show Coast to Coast AM first with the legendary Art Bell and later George Nori.
I have since written numerous books on Emergency Preparedness, Survival Skills and Situational Awareness under both my name and pen name MR Valentine. My newest will be out soon.
I became interested in the concept of ECO-VILLAGES while writing the first book. I then began to consult others interested in INTENTIONAL COMMUNITY LIVING.
Now that I have shared my background, in the next post I will begin to discuss why I think CHRISTIANS living together in community is so important now!
