Yes, the time has finally arrived to create this Christian ministry of boats on the Florida St. John River!
I have become involved with the MICRO CHURCHES Movement in my little western North Carolina mountain town.
A MICRO CHURCH is as it was in the book of Acts, where the Christians met in homes to pray and have food. So a MICRO CHURCH is very small with probably a maximum of 20 members.
So we would try to keep our members to that same number.
Every Sunday morning all the boats would anchor close to each other. We would have music, time to share and pray, a message and finally a brunch, where each boat offered something for the meal.
I plan to do this through LIFTED UP MINISTRY™ and set it up as a nonprofit. I will also look to associate our ministry through an established MICRO CHURCH organization like the one in Asheville, North Carolina. Our mountain one is part of the Asheville organization. The most well known is Dove International, founded by Larry and LaVerne Kreider. Larry wrote this book I am reading.
